Toadstool Problem

What would be a factor in my Toadstool not opening? My Hammer seems to be doing well as is my Bubble and Cabbage leather. Too much light, not enough, too much waterflow? I thought it may be shedding but it hasn't looked good for a week or so now.

I have a toadstool that is incredibly sensitive to changes. If anything changes like it gets moved, water flow changes, even if he get touched much, it closes up for weeks. I've had to move it a few times and it has literally taken it months to open up again. So, I can't really help you much to the specifics. Toadstools will do well in variety of conditions, it just seems that some really need to be left alone for a while before they will adjust and be happy.

That makes me feel a bit better, I moved it recently and my new cleaner shrimp have been climbing on it a bit. Thanks for your input.

I have the same problem. Mine is picky also. It gets tapped by a fish it closes up. Also I moved it a few times took awhile to adjust.....

mine is sensitive but out of all of my corals, (no sps), it seems to prefer the most current/lighting so far. it's never taken that long for it to open back up though, but from what everyone else is saying it sounds like a common thing.
