toadstools

Hiya,
Can two toad stools live within touching distance? I've got a yellow and a brown one right next to each other. I don't want to loose either of them.

usually, that's ok. i have them clustered around each other (different species).
would they grow better/faster without the different types around them? maybe. but that's species domination that you see in the wild.
i find more trouble in possible shading from one out-growing the other than contact issues.

Thanks Tinyreef! There is definately a possiblity of the smaller one being out shadded, but they've both got thier polyps extended. I'll just keep an eye on them.
