Todestol leather coral and a ufo

I recently bought a todestole leather coral from the lfs and it seems to have a thin layer of silky slime on it. Is this bad or not. If so what do you think I should do. Also attached is a pic of a ufo in my tank. What is it

The slime is normal. It means its stressed, or shedding (they do that occasionally). Since its new its probably just stressed. Nothing to worry about. And that "ufo" looks like a nudibranch. Since it just showed up when you got the toadstool, I bet its a leather eater. GET RID OF IT!

leathers slime up all the time, its there way of removing alege (sp)... should happen like once a month on average...i have 2 in my tank...after awhile they'll start sliming up at the same time each month...
pretty normal
best of luck!
also if it doesn't open back up...move it...they're pretty touchy as to where they are in the tank... ie. to much light/water flow...etc

yea, it came with the leather so I guess that it what it is. I just moved it from another spot so I hope that it will start blooming
