tomato clowns

I have just got a pair of tomato clowns. What is the best diet for these fish and how often should they be fed. I have a 4ft setup, no other fish and just the cleaning crew.

Clown fish aren't too picky in most cases. Pellets, flake, mysis shrimp, nori, plankton and other chopped meaty foods. You can feed small amounts a couple times a day, or even just once. Keep tabs on your water parameters and don't over feed. These can be very aggressive buggers once settled so be careful when adding any new fish that are passive or small.

I've kept tomatos before. One bullied a fairy wrasse and a goby pretty consistantly. IME, keeping them in pairs can sometimes reduce aggression, simply becaue they have each other to hang with and are less apt to pay attention to other fish. I keep a pair of ocellaris now and while not overly pushy, they take no crap from any of the others, including damsels, wrasses, a big old goby and a large angel.
If you plan to have a host anemone, they will vigorously defend it from fish that come too close.
I don't have any recent pics of my tank. Hopefully when my new bulbs come in I'll post some then.
