Tomorrow is My GOLDEN birthday!!

Hey guys,
I am a little freaked...I am going from a kid, to a teenager! Plus, it is my golden birthday-it will be October 13, I am turning 13, and I was born on Friday the 13th! (I know, bad day to be born on...) IDK, what I am gonna get, my mom said MAYBE to a MH/PC combo light for my tank...so we'll see. I will probably get up early to get some breakfast before school. Just needed to calm my nerves...thanks guys!

Happy Birthday!
I never understood why people seemed to think a "golden" birthday was anything special. If you were born early in the month, it happened before you even knew what it was.
Last month, one of my patients turned 94 on 9/4. I thought that was more significant than the typical "golden" birthday.
Other milestones such as 10,000 days (~age 27) or 1 billion seconds (~age 31) meant more to me.

I think the bdays that have all the same numbers are cool: 8/8/88 9/9/09 or 9/9/99 etc.......
