Gosh Joe, you don't know what to do with your tongue!!??
My expertise is based more on the results than the actual care of, so I'll bump this for you.

Thanks for the bump; I am a little surprised that you would only be an expert on the end result of getting a good tongue and not methods for keeping it in excellent condition

You hafta understand that we all care for our tongues differently. I can only tell you if your doing it right by the results. Mine is well, but we all do things differently, just because what I do with mine, works for me, that doesn't mean it will work for you.

So far, yours looks great. But it will take some time before I can see if what your doing with it is correct.

Very true! The technique for keeping once tongue in perfect health and condition depends on how it's fed, in what type of conditions it's kept etc.

So if I understand the previous comments it’s rather a trial and error affair. What works for one tank may not work for another? But in the long run having taken the time to experiment with different techniques one can ultimately have a tongue from which he or she can elicit great satisfaction

That is a beautiful tongue. It looks firm, comfortably stretched, and healthy. It is my opinion that technique and care are important to keep a tongue happy.

Me personally I find tongue coral a little gross appearing. Don't know why. Anyways, that is a particularly nice looking coral. Congrats.
