The only other 'elite' QB not mentioned is Brees. Shouldn't have to explain why Brady, Rodgers, Brees, and Peyton are elite QB's. The group next "almost elites" are Worthliessburger (meh) and Rivers. Rivers can easily be made into an argument to be included though...
Comparing Cam to Romo this season so far, they both have 5 INTs. Romo has 7 TD passes, Cam 5, but Cam has 4 rushing TDs to Romo's 0. Romo has 2 more passing completions, but Cam has 110 more passing yds.
As far why people particularly pick on Romo, this season is his 9th. Granted he's only had 4 real seasons excluding 2010. But I think most people would like to see something more by now, than 1 solitary playoff win. A QB is the face of a franchise, and the Cowboys franchise is expected to do well. In reality, the Cowboys have had 1 playoff win since 1997, which came last year. When things have gone wrong for as long as they've been for the cowgirls, the hammer falls somewhere. The other part of it is the mistakes Romo has made, and still makes. Brett Farve throwing a 60yd bomb that happens to get picked is one thing. Romo getting flushed out of the pocket, then lobbing a 9yd interception directly to the corner squatting on the route, is something else completely. Much like people see a race car driver on TV, and think "oh I drive, I can do that..." People see these high-school level mistakes Romo makes, and that fuels the hate.
