Is their such thing as too many feather dusters?? My tank is about 6 months old. It's 60 gal. with about 90 lbs of live rock, on one of the pieces of live rock I have had a small feather duster that has been growing for a while now, Now today I noticed that there are 4 other small feather dusters that are growing on the same piece of live rock. They must of came on the live rock or something. Is this a good sign that my tank is doing well???

IMO, it is a good sign. They will filter feed, which is good. I have probably 40-50+ of them in my 60g. They kind of took over this one rock I have in front of the tank, and are also in other places. I like the way they look personally.

Feather duster populations are a sign of good water quality. If you don't like them get yourself a copperband butterfly - it'll eat them.
