Too many fish?!

I read somewhere (can't remember where),about a guy witha 75 gal. tank with a blue hippo tang,a coral beauty,2 clown gobies,a 6-line wrasse,a watchman goby,a lawnmower blenie,a scooter blennie,a diamond back blennie,and a royal gramma!He had a 40 gal sump/fuge a lot of macro algae,and a nautalus te skimmer,and homemade filter/baffle system.I thought that was way too many fish.It is too many fish right?

1-flame
1-canary blenny
1-black goby
1-manderin
1-sixline wrass
2-percs
4-chromis (need to go soon)
now its about 15" of fish + 4" of chromis=19 for now in my 72

no, its not as long as water parameters are fine. more water changes may have to be done to keep nitrates down. In my 55 I have
1- yellow tang
1- percula clown
1-lemon peel angel
1 royal gramma
1- engineer goby
and bunch of shrimp, crabs, and snails......

He also had 2 firefish and 2 percula clownfish.

I'b say so, maybe with out the hippo in there because they get way to big and need a lot of swiming room even as a juvi.

So he doesn't have too many fish?His tank looked fine and the parameteres were fine so,he doesn't have a biological overload even with all of those fish.

He would be fine if he took the hippo tang out.

you say all those fish but really his only big guy is a tang the rest are all like blennies that dont get big or really swim

Ya thats what I'm saying.So all of his fish are ok except the blue hippo tang which will just outgrow the tank right.So really every fish is ok,even the tang,untill it outgrows the tank.:thinking:

No it may be okay for a few months but even as juviniles they need a pretty big tank, in the 5-6ft. long range.
