i know that coralline algae is good but i think that too much has grown in my tank
Ive read that sea urchins eat coralline algae
is this true?
but i also read that they are not coral safe
is there any other way i could get rid of the coralline without scraping it off because there is too much to scrape off
thanx for the help

Mine doesn't eat it. I scrape my front and both side glasses and let it grow everywhere else. Where else is it growing in your tank? :notsure:

My turbos don't eat coralline.
I used to have an urchin in my reef and he didn't bother the corals, but he did eat the coralline off the glass. Unfortunately he ate it off the LR too.

My urchin stays mostly on the glass and doesn't seem to like the rocks. May be thats why he hasn't eat my coralline.

how are you 15 and computer illiterate in 2007? LOL unless you are Amish, but then you shouldnt be on this forum, and you would need at least 25 mules running in circles to produce energy to keep your tank runnin :p

Hey i dont want it on my glass but you can't get enough of it on rocks and such. Let it grow! If it's on your glass, just scrape it off and let it float around. The spores that you scrape off of the glass will encourage more growth within your tank.
