i'm guessing metal halide?
sounds fine it'll move to a spot that gives it the right amount of light, all on its own.

Yeah, I'm assuming metal halide aswell... Whats the wattage and the tank size? You more than likely have a decent amount of light and like reefkprZ said, it will find the spot most suitable for it. You should be alright

I stand corrected thats no where near enough light its going to die. trade it in or get better lighting.

15 Watts? Are you sure? I did not think they made 20K bulbs that were that low in wattage!

do you mean 150 watts? Because I have a 150 watt 20,000k Metal Halide...
If you only have 15 watts I suggest taking/trading it back to the LFS

You need much more powerful lighting, something around 5 watts per gallon, though understanding proper lighting is more comlicated than just wattage. This can be achieved with any combination of Power Compact, VHO or T5 flourescent, or Metal Halide. Be prepared to spend a significant amount of money. And unless you do this soon, that anemone is going to die.

WPG is old and outdated for the mostpart....PC..nah I would go with MH for an anem. Normal Output just wont cut it..

I suggest you read my post again and make special note of the part where I state that understanding proper lighting is more complex than just wattage. It may be a somewhat outdated rule of thumb, but it's a good place to start when trying to understand how high output lighting works.

I told you the names for the types of lighting you can get. There are countless brands that make all those different types of lights. I suggest you get on google, look up all the different sites that sell saltwater supplies (this site is not very good for lighting), and start browsing through lighting options. There are many different ways to do the same job, so you'll have to decide what you're willing to spend and what you'll want to keep based on the lighting choices you make. Get ready to spend several hundred dollars no matter what you decide.
