Hi all, I have a FO 54 gallon corner aquarium w/ 45 lbs of live rock and 50 lbs of live sand, and am runnning a wet/dry system that is rated for a 75 gallon aquarium. I now have 6 damsels and would like to add a dwarf angel; would this be too much??

Depending on how long they have been in the tank, and what kind of damsels they are,,,You may have problems putting anything in that tank..Damsels can be very territorial, and aggressive. You would probably be better off getting rid of three of them, then adding something new...

I'M assuming they are chromis because almost any other damsels will eventually kill each other off. Even if chromis i would agree w/ Mr Salty and get rid of three then add a dwarf and a gramma or GS maroon clown. My preferences of couse. Good luck.

Well, there are four chromis and two 3-stripe damsels. Not my choice in fish but my wife loves those damsels.. I have a friend who is starting a new system so maybe I can give a few to him. Thanks for the replies.

chromis aren't overly aggresive and i wouldn't worry about them, but the stipes are i would ditch those and buy something else, i have 10 blue reef cromis in my 110 and all other kinds of fish, no probs whats so ever

Yeah I would advise to be very careful when you have damsels simply because they are very aggressive when it comes to their area....I would advise you to put the damsels in your friends tank. That would be the best thing to do.
Later!

Thanks to all that have replied.. I gave my friend the 2 3 stripes so now I only have the chromis. I'm thinking of adding a coral beauty.. any thoughts??
