Are toodstools hard to keep. Do they neeed alot of lighting or other special requirements.

toadstool are a very hardy, very diverse coral and a great one to begin with. they will acclimate to just about any type fo lightig from vho's to pc's to metal halides. they get the majority if not all of their energy form their zooxanthellae, but do like to have optimal water quality. i have had one in my 20 for about 10 months now and he was one of the first corals that was in. great little guys that look very cool!

is 330 watts per gal in a 75 gal tank enough light. I am getting a new set up, 2 175 mh and 55 vho combo or something. Also what is that stuff that they eat again and should my lfs have it.

that will give you 5.4 watts per gallon that will be fine for soft corals but im not sure about lps or sps
