torch coral position

i just bought my first torch coral. my question is does it haveto be placed straight up and down or can it be placed on a angle? thanks!

depends on the skeleton. i have mine in the sand in between rocks.

dosent really matter how you place it, as long as teh tenticle can extend, and it can get light
