torch coral

Hello everyone.
I'm having trouble with a torch coral. All my water par. are ok. but the coral is not opening all the way and looks all wrinkled. Any one have a idea of what to do. LFS said to do a idiod dip.

Alk10.2
Nit-1.0
Cal-420
Also this coral has not growen in 8 months, any help would be great.

Whats your lighting,size tank,filteration,etc...It may be getting too much light or too little light. What do you dose your tank with. From info. I've heard torch corals aren't for begineers.

What do you feed and how often? What kind of light and water current do you have ? I feed "liquid Life Bio-plancton and my'n love it. I have 2 both in med to strong current and med light.

I have another question. Is this a new coral or you have this coral for a while?

I have had it for about 8-9 months. my lighting is 175 hm 10k, and two 96w pc a-blue.

I also use bonic the two part.

Torch coral and most of Euphylia sp. family are the natural water quality monitors. If they are suddenly closed, look for problems.
Is it possible that the test kits you are using are expired? Try with other test kits. U should get same parameters.
