Hi all..I would like to know from those of you who have success with torch coral. Is it like most LPS..in that it prefers moderate current? Here's the situation...I was at work yesterday when a large shipment came in.The employee on duty was cutting up the torch into frags, and accidently cut the edge off one of the heads. She was going to throw it out,so I offered to keep it,and see what I could do with it.So far it looks ok,just wanting to know where you think it should be placed, until it heals. There is a cut down the side of it's skeleton, but not all the way.

Hiya,
My torch gets medium light and is in a low to medium flow. It gets just enough flow to extend it's tenticals and move them about some.
Don't know if it will heal or not sorry.

from what i understand when you frag a coral or a coral gets injured, it should be put in a lower flow area so that it does not get disturbed even more than it already has. thats just what i have read
