What would you like to set it up as a FO or Reef tank

There are so many variables to a question like this, heres my opinion.
.
75-100lb of LR, seems like a lot, but I like lots of LR
$300-$500 depends on source and if it's cured.
.
50lb of LS $40-$100 depends on if cured and the source.
.
150w MH light $175
.
Skimmer, optional $125
.
Refractometer $40
.
Heaters x 2 (better to have 2 heaters) $50
.
Fan $10
$800 - $1000 for a really nice setup. All brand new equipment
$675 - $875 without skimmer and just do lots of water changes
.
Shop around for used equipment or local reefers selling off some good LR and LS and you could cut the pricing down.
