I just got my TDS meter today. What is the total amount of ppm I can have, RO water, before I have to replace my catridges ?

I got the same one. You do know that you have to calibrate it with the solution first for it to be accurate right? When you calibrate make sure the solution is room temp and make sure the probe is room temp before calibrating. A shot glass works perfect, just rinse it with ro water before adding the solution.

I would say anything above 3 on the DI you should change the resin and for the RO, if you put a meter on that one (no sense putting it on your tap water) anything about 5 change filters. You can always use the guide with your RO system and filters as far as usage goes. The ro membrane last the longest and the di the shortest, carbon and poly filters are in between the membrane and di as far as being spent.
What kind of RO system do you have?

pinnacle + 200gpd.
WTF. I just replaced a 130watt ballast for my 55gal. Right after that my 30gal is having light issues. The TDS meter said "Factory Calibrated: recalibration is not necessary, but can be done easily with a watch screwdriver." What a day.........happy new year !

I replaced all cartridges after the 1st year. I wanted 200gpd because I want the water done now...
it takes me a good 10 hours to make about 20gal. no way in hell at 65psi, it makes 200gal in 24 hours

it's been about 2 years with this unit. It still produces slowly at 65psi. I have had my 55gal for 3yrs march and the 30gal 2yrs sept.
