i dont mean hardy fish, like damsels, or hermit crabs that can go through a lot. what in your tank has gone through the most stuff, been close to death, but pulled through miraculously?
i have a hippo tang that spent a day in a bucket, no heater, no pumps
i drove 3 hours to pick it up, then it had to last the 3 hr drive back home. it was listless when it finally got here. a few water changes in the bucket for acclimation, and when it went into the qt, started swimming fine. it was a real nail biter for a while though. it must have been in the bucket for 9 hours.

My large feather duster has been through a lot. It managed to survive my newbness and I still have it today.
It has been taken completely out of the water. It has been torn from a hermit crab pulling too hard on the algae on it's tube. It has had rocks dropped on it, it has lost and regrown it's plume...it's been through a lot...other than that animal, not much.

my chain link moray, first eel I bought and he has been through all my tank issues and is still kickin'.

My Longhorn Cowfish. I awoke one morning to find him stuck to a modified maxijet ph. It chopped one of his side fins off. He had to swim in circles for a while but the fin grew back and he never skipped a beat.

My yellow ray has survived getting beaten up by a sohal tang, and then a moorish idol. She has been cured of a large goiter and has jumped out of the tank twice... once she banged against a hot MH bulb and broke it.

A goiter from iodine deficiency? What did you do? Just dose iodine?

MY flame tail blenny. On day two of setting up my tank I bought live rock, it came out of the lfs tank and into paper and a cooler, out of water 40 min-1hr before in my tank. Then next day after the sand settled I saw I had a fish, thought he was an eel at first. he rules the tank and his "rock" with an iron fin.

yeah, it's not as bad as what some ppls fish have gone through, but with the cold weather on the day i moved the fish, and the condition the fish was in when it finally got inside the house, i thought it was surprising the fish pulled through.

UM, i think my picasso trigger. Hes been involved in an avalache, terrorized by my maroon, thrown into an anemone, bitten by my niger and hides under my hand when i try to clean the tank?
I think he is my tough guy. Plus when i moved all my fish from my 35g to the 150g I kinda just had to throw them in and of course he lands under my foxface? But hes still kicken and hes the smallest one.
