toxic zoos

hello,
I have some orange zoos, green zoos, and some yellow polyps. My question is the zoos were looking good a few days ago, after I fed them some phytoplankton, the next day they are closed and sick looking.
Also during my search for answers I discoverd that zoos contain one the most deadly toxins known to science.
This has me freaking, I never touch them, but does anyone have anthing to add to this.

1 - Zoos don't eat Phytoplankton so don't squirt it right at them.
2 - All Zoanthids contain various toxins and should only be handled with gloves. Especially when propogating them. However, Palytoxin is NOT one of the toxins found in Zoanthids except for one specific species. Palythoa toxica in the South Pacific (notably Hawaii) is the only coral known to contain this toxin.

Thanks Bang Guy,
Glad to hear that these zoos dont contain that toxin, I do use gloves when adding or moving anything in my tank.
As far as the phytoplankton goes, I guess that was not a good idea to squirt them with it.

What gloves do you use? Is any latex with none of that powder crap ok? Need to get me some.

I use these orange playtex gloves, no powder and they are long enough to cover halfway up to my elbows.
Many people dont realize that some of the corals and anemones in their tanks can cause them harm, you must be very careful when handling them.
I read about one man who apparently squished some kind of zoo that was stuck to his glass, some toxins were released and he had to be rushed to the hospital, he had a rapid heartbeat, hot flashes, shaking. His blood tests revealed he had toxic poison in his bloodstream, he was lucky he survived.
