First off Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here,
Two Tank Raised Pecula's arrived from Saltwaterfish.com yesterday morning, after proper acclimating they were released into the tank around noonish, they are doing fine but they seem fussy to food. I've tried 3 different types of flake food & they either ignore it or spit it out after taking it in. However when I put "Two Little Fishies" Phtoplankton Phtoplan in they seemed to like that & ingest that. Has anyone here purchased these same fish from SWF & know what they fed them or had luck with something on their own?
I guess worst case scenario is they can eat the phytoplankton but was hoping they take some flake, Maybe Brine shrimp eggs(looks like the Phtoplankton), I'd like to avoid live food if at all possible. Other than the feeding issue they are doing great.
