if your doing weekly water changes than trace elements are not needed. If your not than you may have to dose. I only add kents concentrated iodine if some of my softies arent looking to hot. They usually pop right back up after a iodine dose. FME iodine gets used extremlly quickly in your tank depending on how stocked you are with corals.
