Tracking Program

I know there was a post on here not to long ago about a computer program that kept track of aquarium stuff. I can't remember the name but it really wasn't all that great. Wanted to know if there are other people out there, like me, who like to keep track of purchases and chemistry and do so with a computer program.

Maybe a Microsoft access database? I might fool around with it and see if it'll work and whatnot; who knows.
If all else fails; can always use a spiral notebook, did that for the first 6 months or so of my tank to document the cycle and the such. Afterwards just note when I buy lights and the such on the old boxes.

pyro - As of right now I do keep track of it in a spiral notebook ( chemistry, livestock, equip) but someday I would like to have it all on the computer. I am pretty familiar with Access but I just was wonderign if anyone uses a pre-made program

Might want to look at the aqua controllers... I know some of them come with software for the computer; but no clue if you can just get the software and manually do the inputs or whatnot... just an idea

Those sound great, but very pricey!
I've not had any real experience with them so I'm not sure what the software looks like though.

I am a computer Programmer. I just started but I am writing a program to do all these things right now. It doesn't seem like it will take that long to write the only problem is that I am very busy all the time so I am not sure how much time I will be getting to work on it. I will let everyone know when I complete it. if you would like you can email me at yellowlogic@cox.net and just put in the subject saltwater program and in the message put your email address and when I finish it i will let you know.
