I am 20 year old batchelor and my 20,000$ home is payed for its payed for thats more than some can say and besides I am a batchelor I could live in my garage for all I care

Oh and thought of trying putting a bunch of weights, or salt, or sandbags, and just increasing the weight to see if the floor bows/creaks/blows into a million pieces?

I don't think it's going to fall thru your floor, but without reinforcements underneath, it could definately sag, causing a stress break on the tank. Crawl under there and put some reinforcement jacks on top of some solid cinderblocks at the very least.

if you can place the tank across the steel beams under the house they will hold the tank , that's how my 8 foot 180 is . no problem at all. yes the tank will be running in line with the joists but the main tank weight will be distributed down to the steel beams. they are spaced 7.5 feet apart so with your tank ,I'm assuming it's also 8 feet long will span both of the beams.
