Tridacna crocea questions?

So my Tridacna crocea arrived yesterday looks great and all hasn't opened up yet but don't expect it to for awhile. Few hours after I acclimate and put it in my Cleaner and Perppermint Shrimps are sitting inside it and look to be either cleaning or eating it not sure what they are doing. There is also a Nassarrius (sp?) Snail sitting inside of it as well. Went to work tonight and come back and they still seem to be there the Cleaner has left it alone but the Perppermints and the snail are still there should I be worried or is this normal behavior?

most clams open right away when put into a tank, or within the hour. there not like corals that stayed closed for days at a time.
sounds like its dead, especially if the shrimp and snails are inside it picking at it.

Sorry took so long for a reply and sorry no pics there just sitting on the side of the clam leaning in it and the nsails are inside of it. This happened almost right when I put it in the tank so does this mean it was dead before it went in and I should return it or is it still alive im not really sure?

Sound like most likely dead. If you can I would return it. Sounds like it was dead when before you put it in.
