over the past few days i have noticed that a pile of old hermit crab shells was moving from spot to spot once or twice a day. so i decided to sit around for a while and wach to see what was happening. and i saw that my humu trigger was picking them up one by one and moving the pile and then eating sand then throwing it up on the shells. any way i thought that was pritty cool and adds to the reason triggerfish are my favorite fish.

Puffers are also known to do this. It's pretty neat how these fish can be so delicate with the moving of shells.
