Are there any type of trigger fish that are coral/invert compatable? I would like to have a Picasso trigger, are there any particular types of coral/inverts that I could make work? I have a 130 gallon tank so there is definitly some space to work with.
any info would be greatly appreciated

I have always been told that you can not have triggers with corals. i was told that they would eat the corals. I think it would be a very expencive gamble to try this.

I have had my clown trigger in my reef tank for well over 8 months now, no problems (yet)
They will eat your inverts, from all I have read and what ppl here have said. I was lucky to not have any problems, because I did not read up on them to begin with. I have attributed this only to the fact he eats good.
I believe all trigger ppl here would agree in saying don't trust any trigger in a reef tank. As for mine....My eyes are on him all day every day. <img src="graemlins//bah.gif" border="0" alt="[bah]" />

Triggers vs Corals/inverts
Id say the triggers win. I wouldnt try it, but if you insist, maybe Nigers, and theres a chance Blue Chins wont go nuts.
Corals are expensive, i wouldnt risk it.
Peace.

I've had a Niger with corals before, never bothered a thing. But then I've heard of people who have Nigers who end up trying to eat their corals. I would say it really depends on the personality of the trigger. I would not chance it. It's really not worth it. And I definitely wouldn't do a Picasso, they're one of the worst.
