Trigger with a Maroon Clown or Tomato?

30 gallon is to small for a trigger. You could probably keep 1 of the clowns in the tank, and maybe 1 or 2 smaller fish.

Bo, you're such a conversationalist:D
Triggers need more space, especially a picasso. They swim like crazy non-stop. You'd drive him nuts in that small a tank after awhile.
Tomato is cool though!

You confine a huma in a small tank like that with other fish, that huma is going to kill everything. Go bigger !! REMEMBER !! Bigger is better !! That is so true in salt water and ..... well I'll let your imagination figure out the other. :D

if you go bigger i think you can combine the trigger with the clown...i have had a picasso with a tomato, a niger with a tomato, and an undulate currently with the same tomato never with any problems

I had a 29 h with a tomato, a percular and a 5 inch very aggressive huma huma, they all got along fine for years, but the trigger would have been happier with more room and he was always well fed.

Well my experience has been NO. I had a clown fish,"Jacko", untill I intraduced a 3" Humma "Tank" Well needless to say, "Jacko" didn't make it thru the night. Woke up, couldn't find him. Asked my wife if she saw him, nope. Not a fin or anything. "Jacko" was gone without a trace. Next day, night, "tank" starts chasing my Yellow Tang. He suvived, but needless to say, "Tank" went back to lfs & we brought back a smaller Huma "Hummi, aka ZoomZoom", who is doing just fine, although he is the king of the tank, & does whatever he wants.
