I just got a New Niger Trigger and put him in with my Yellow Tang. Do they hide alot? he was out alot for the first two days, now he hides alot...is this normal.?

One More question, should i have that much live rock?? I am new to the aggressive side, recently swithching from a reef...

All that live rock is not going to hurt anything, it will probably help you out 
On the niger hiding , He is the new kid in the tank, give him a little time and he will start cruising the tank again. I had a niger that if anyone walked by he'd shoot into his hole. After a couple of months he'd chase them the length of the tank , just in case they might have something he would want to eat

Thank you .... just seems like peoples pics show very little rock. I have rock from bottom to top along the back....with room for them to swim in and out.

My trigger hides alot. If he is out and you walk by the tank he runs and hides. He also hides when you feed them, them comes out a bit later and eats the food off the ground. Didn't use to hide, just stared doing it recently.

every trigger i have ever owned has done the hiding thing from 2 days all the way up to a couple weeks so dont worry
