If you have 90 gallons I would not recommend any more, clowns can get well over a foot in captivity I think they max out around 20". I personally have 3 triggers but they are in a 240gal tank and that will get crowded once they are adults. I have a niger, picasso and a clown and s far they are fine but again they have alot of room right now.
What is a tiger trigger? Do you have a pic? I am really into triggers and if there's one that I have not already seen I would like to see a pic if you have one.

Having one triggerfish in a 90 gallon is pushing it; let along five or six. If you want that many triggers, I'd recommend a 400 gallon or larger tank. To answer your question Scoot, yes, blue-throats are indeed reef safe, as are any of the triggers in the genera Xanthichthys and Melichthys.

i wouldn't go as far as to say that any trigger, even blue-throats, are reef safe. this would mean that they, within reason, would never cause harm to inverts or corals.
