Tropic Marin

I have been using Instant Ocean for 1 1/2 years and was looking at the price I paid for a whole bucket of salt. It was $27.00. I then looked at the same size bucket of Tropic Marin salt and it was $89.00. I wondered what the difference was?? I also wondered if I switched would it effect my corals and fish in a negative way???
Anyone else using this expensive brand of salt????

tropic marin is the best, you cant go wrong with that brand (except with the price). I would recomend it to anyone whos willing to pay for it.

i am use in tropic marine pro expensive but the best salt in the market .

I'll tell ya...it was price difference that caught my eye. However I tested a new batch of Instant Ocean today at 1.026
Alk 3.5
Calcium 420
I am happy with that?

I was using instant ocean reef cyrstals
alk was 12.2
cal 440
sg 1.025
gonna try the new red sea pro coral salt guarantees using ro water at sg 1.023
ph 8.2
alk 2.2-2.5meg/l
cal 450
