True or False Percs

I wa going to ordera maited pair of percs today but my LFS was closed, which would you suggest,
Tank raised or wild cought
True or False Percs
I have heard that wild cought are cheaper but tank raised are more hardy.

I have also heard that tank raised are hardier, I've also heard that False Percs are hardier than True Percs.
The hardier the better IMO.

go with true...i have a pair of true and they are the best. Get tanked raised......
Do the dip method when acclimating them..

I reccomend tank raised... it's the best and only way to buy fish...

you hook up a kind of sphyphin into the bag where water from the tank drops into your fish bag so that slowly you are acclimating the fish. IMO, best way to do it... even though i can't figure out how...

What i was told to do was let the bag sit for about half an hour to let the temp equilize and then let a little tank water in, let it sit for an other half hour then let the fish in.

that is one way but the 'dip' system is more of a slower, stabiler acclimating period.

how do you get the water to drip so slowley?

u can use an air hose and u can tigten part of it to slow the drip rate... like squeeze the hose

or just copy and paste it into a word file if you like- at least it will be handy even when you aren't online

imo, just adding a little water once wouldn't be enough to acclimate the fish/inverts.

I would go True. Iv had good luck with them. In some cases it can be hard for some to host.

I would get true because I like them better as for tank or wild go for captive bred, not to get all Greenpeace on ya but lets presevrve our oceans!

I'm really wanting to get captive bread but so far the omly thing holding me back is the price, i think it's upwards of 50 bucks.

When the fish come in to the LFS shoud i wait a few days to let the fish calm down or should i take them home imeditley?
