I went today to one of the fish stores and was truly shocked. I have been here before but I guess not on a sunday sale day. Many fish were chucked into bags, half dead. People were picking them up and throwing them back into the tanks. I actually watched one guy scoop up a bunch then throw - by hand the ones he didn't want back in the tank. I suggested perhaps that was not the most effective way to catch a fish he wanted and how he would feel if that was done to the fish he wanted *shrug* was the response. On my way out of the store a guy had no less than 10 'bagged' fish in a basket... I asked him must have a big tank man to be able to take that kinda bioload increase. oh yea its big 29 gallons.... of course they sold them to him w/o a question. BTW if your wondering why I was in there is because as a gift i recieved a gift certificate for corals... so until I can find 2 more specimens good enough to go in my tank I will see it. Anyway thats just my 2 cents for the day....
