The polyps should be puffy looking. Will shrink some at night and extend their feeder tenticals. Might want to spot feed it when you see that or try to tease it to feed dureing the day.
IMO, Not smart to use additives without testing to see if you need them...Water changes with a good salt brand are best for replinishing depleated minerals.
