tube anemone's

This is a new one to me and I hope someone can shed some light..Several months ago a aquired a purple tube anemone by chance. Now I know they have a good sting and all but nobody has yet to be bothere by it. HOwever he or she depending on whom responds left the tube and went searching for a better spot. Here is the catch....It has a new tube now..Is this typical????? never heard of that happening before. Please clue me in on this one!!!!

Eventually they'll grow a new tube. Just continue feeding it as normal.

Yeah I have heard of them moving and creating a new tube because they didn't like the place they were before. Their tubes are secreted by the anemone itself so I wouldn't worry about it at all. Just care for it as you normally would.

Thanks for the info..What do i do with the old tube...My bennie seems to love it as a place to hang out??
