Tube worm?

Over the past week or two these very small (1/8") tube worm looking things have started to appear on my back wall. They are bleach white and the tube goes in almost a complete circle. There is a very small fan on one side. My question is... are these pests or should I not worry about them.

hi matt, there called Spirorbid worms. They are prety much in everyones tanks, there just simple filter feeders that usually decline in numbers once the tank matures.

Cool beans, thanks for the response. And nice call, not quite a mature tank yet. Only have 3 months on this one.
