tunze are definetly worth the extra money. plus, you can mod them to push even more flow at the same wattage.
im using 2 of the 6025's (both modded) in my 30 gallon along with a seio. ive got awesome water movement and they dont take up a lot of space.

tunze, no comparison. I have a hydor 2 and hydor nano in with the tunze 6025, when the tunze is off its like there really isn't much flow at all. The tunze woke up my tank completely, its a great pump. My friend has the 6045 and hydor 4, and not only are the tunze more pleasant to the eye as they are smaller and less intrusive, but the 6045 is far superior to the 4 as well.

what is this mod to the 6025? I have two of them and would be very interested at making them push more water.
BTW, the 6025's hands down. My buddy has the koralia and they produce a more direct flow and they are much bigger. They are only effective if you point them at a wall so the water can spread out because they will be to powerful if faced near corals.

im not even sure. i bought them used/modded (actually traded for some frags) and i can tell they're pushing just as much if not more water than my seio.

Just watch out for the tunze. I have the 45 and the magnet totally broke off
form the ball during the night and could not be fixed. Tunze still has yet to get back to me on replacing it. Mine was not even a year old when this occured.

ninjamini: I have tried both and picked Tunze. It is a nice small package which produces a lot of flow (especially after the mod). Also it is smaller and to me it looks better. Don’t think that Koralia is a bad choice.
I had model #3 running for 6 months – no problems at all and really quiet. You will be happy with either. If it’s for 90G listed in your profile I would get at least 2.
Am00re34: google “tunze nano mod”. The first link will give you a lot of reading and useful info. You can make your 6025 to push 1100gph in 5 minutes. No special skills required.

Katz: Tunze has the best customer support. Go to the their forum (the sponsor section of --). Roget will take care of your problem promptly and free of charge. C-Clamp now has a more flexible and stronger design. I just had mine replaced.

I already have the koralia 1 and 3. I was wondering if the nanostream is worth almost 2x the money for a lower rating on the flow. I will never mod anything. Nope just not going to do it.
