turbo acting funny

One of my Mexican turbo snails is acting funny. He tries to attach to the rock or wall but isn't attaching fully like he used to and eventually just falls off. Every time I reposition, he tries but is unsuccessful. Any ideas? I feel like he's dying but don't know if there's anything I can do??

probably will die but unsure why...maybe doesn't have enough algae to eat. i've seen this happen to turbos and they usually end up dieing.

What are your tank parameters? How long have you had it? Have you ever used copper or tested for copper...do you have any metal or brass fittings in your tank?

salinity is 1.023. Have never tested for copper. Don't have any metal in tank. Other snails are fine, so it's weird :)
Thanks for your reply

Your specific gravity is on the low side - how do you measure it? Hydrometer or refractometer? I wouldn't let it get any lower for sure. With inverts, which are very very sensitive to salinity, 1.025-1.026 is a better range. How long have you had these snails?
