turbo snails life span?

what is the life span of a turbo snail (not the super turbo's) all i have is a starshell and a coneshell.
when i asked the lfs he said years but never gave me an honest look of an answer if you know what i meen.

the cone shelled one are astrea snails not turbos. i have a couple for a few years now that are almost 2" tall ans an inch across at the base.

If your tank has higher temp in it, then Mexican Turbo's won't live long. They also starve fairly easily.

very true.
i lost 4 mexican turbos over the past 1.5 year. they eat a TON of algae, so if your tank doesnt have it, don't get em.

They always eat the leftover algae on my clip that I use for the tang .

Mine do not do that much anymore going into my fourthh month in the tank. I sometimes toss them into my overflow to get the stuff out of there though so I am sure they get stuffed
