turbo snails??

Hi, I'm still new to this hobby. I don't have extensive equipment or really fancy fish. I do have a couple off questions. First question; I just bought 2 turbo snails yesterday, they have decided to clean my live rock. Can you relocate them to where ever you want? Just reach in and move them? Also I noticed yesterday for the first time since I set up my tank, about a year ago, my redish/purpleish fiji live rock has some thing very tiny crawling in and out of it! They almost look like very tiny catepillars!! Is this normal? Did they come in the rock? I never noticed them before and I don't add water from any other source but treated well water or bottled water. Were these things there before and I just now noticed them? Will my turbo snails eat them? I would really be greatful to anyone who could help me with these questions.
Thanks

turbo snails will go where the algae is. the worm thing could be brittle worms. no harm since they r part of the clean up crew. or they could be feather dusters. a pic would surely help.

Sounds like bristle worms. Like nycbob said the snails go were they are needed, don't move them.

Hey thanks for answering my questions! So these worms i have, they look like little catapillars. I can't post pic cause my daughter broke my digital camera. What are feather dusters? And so did these things come in my live rock and I just never noticed them before.

Feather dusters are invertabrate filter feeding worms that will open up as a feather and filter the water for plankton. Many inverts, micro-crustations, and decapods just to name a few will "hitchhike" on your live rock along with nitrobacter.

You should look into your tank at night. Its pretty interesting all the different critters that come out at night. Bristle worms and copapods are pretty common to see at night.

Just do a yahoo or google search for images of said creatures and you will know what they look like. You could also search this sight, just not gonna always find a pic.

Hello everyone, so i did a google search and i think they are bristle worms. so now what, do i just wait until they get big, then buy the crab that eats them? or do i never have to worry about them? there are conflicting stories of them on the internet.
