Turf Algae and Cooked Corals

My heater got stuck on cooking almost everything in my tank. I am planning on getting a Reefkeeper lite to avoid this issue again. I also have been battling turf algae for years. Now that I've lost so much I can use some more invasive approaches.

I have three small frag size corals left. I'd rather keep the three pieces, but I'd be willing to part with them to ensure the turf algae is gone for good.

How should I remove the turf algae and ensure that it never returns?

Seahare. They will eat your algae and then take it back to your local store or share it with another local reefer.

Remarkably all the corals that I had came back except the leather toad stool.
The montipora and the birds nest have sustained large sections that have died off, but everything else looks great.
My question is do you frag pieces from the montipora and birds nest and start anew with those two corals or will even more
come back. Even if the dead pieces don't come back, will new growth eventually grow over the dead sections?
