Ok.....Not sure how old or not the pump actually is, but mine is the new style, and after looking at the impeller, it is written in marker that the impeller I have in bubble wrap is the Dart impeller. I tried doing a quick google search and haven't come up with anything.....To be totally honest and get the absolute right answer would be to contact Chris.....His email is Chris@reeflopumps.com

According to the serial number the pump was made in 08 but he only used it for a short time because he changed tank setups. I plugged it in with out the pump housing on it and the motor is actually quieter than my little RIO pump on my 30 lol.
The other question I had was from reading the directions to install the new impeller and seals. It says: Apply sealant to the bracket bore ID wall and around the seal case using a non-hardening Silicon material. Never use petroleum based sealants.
So my question is are they just talking about 100% silicon caulk? I read through this on http://melevsreef.com/dart_seals.html but he didnt go into that part of it.

I honestly would call or shoot Chris an email, but I would imagine o ring lube would work as well. A word of caution careful install and seat the seal properly. If the seal is cocked it will cause premature leakage, similar to installing grease seals on a big truck or rear main seals on a car. They are basically pressed, but easy to do, but easy to mess up as well. There is some good info as far as those procedures as well. Also if the seal is seated to deep will increase noise.
Id the seal leaking? My motto I if it ain't broke don't fix it!!!! Leaking seal is obvious to spot though. You can always send it in and have it done as well.

Marks site is very good and haven't looked at the info, but would use Reeflos website info as gospel. Compare the info against each other.
