The wait is over!!!! We can have fish....but before we share those, we got 3 peppermint shrimp today to help with our aiptasia. They are fast little suckers, but I did get one posing upside down for me!

We got the last of the live rock today....this time for sure! LOL We didn't intend to get quite as much as we did, but the more you buy at this place, the cheaper it is and they had some nice pieces. Of course we cloudied up the water once again!!

We got an anemone today as well. He even came with a cleaning crab! lol We've already had fun with it! We wanted it in a certain spot and it wouldn't stay for anything. We moved it a few inches and it practically glued itself to the rock!!! We think it is beautiful!
Let us know what you think of it!

And we finally got some fish! We are so excited that we finally have FISH in our fish tank! The clownfish are doing great so far! They are little "hams" for the camera.

That's looking good, but honestly I think you got that nem WAY too early. It looks and sounds healthy. I hope it's okay. Did you research it well? Do you have covers on you power heads? Most people say that you should wait at least 6 months and your tank is mature.

Tank looks really good, but I, too, cringed a little when I read that you bought an anemone. From everything I've read it's better to wait till the tank is very established but who knows - maybe it'll be OK. I bought one fairly soon after my tank was up and running but the tank, rock, sand, and even water was bought used so the anemone did fine. Good luck!

We do have covers on all of our powerheads. We did research the NEM and talked to 2 fish stores extensively about it. The fish are checking it out a lil bit now and it has really latched itself on. It is spread open wide across the rock.

I love the anemone. I have had terrible luck with Haitians. They do great for 3-4 months and then end up on the DSB and almost seem like their hiding from the light. I've moved really slowly into coral and you can probably tell with the zoos, mushrooms and xenias, I'm dabbling in begginer coral. I look forward to watching your progress.
