hey guys i just got finished cleaning up... i had bought a cleaner shrimp, a porcelien crab, a red emerald crab, and a pink tip anenemoe.... well the two crabs so far are doing ok i think... but the shrimp died with in minutes of me putting it in there. the anenemoe also shriveled up and the tentacles are kind of dark. is that dead too? i was acculamating them and the bags of the shrimp and the aneomoe sunk to the bottom of my tank with their top open and my water rushed in the bag with the dealers water.... i dont think any of the dealers water backwashed.. my water just got in. i hope. but i dont understand whats wrong... everything else seems to live but shrimp.

The shrimp are pretty sensative to water parameter changes. The shock from the water could have been enough to kill it. The anemone should be fine. If it is dead it would look like it is melting.

It sounds like they didn't get properly alcclimated.

Indeed. I use specimen containers (large ones) to acclimate mine, they hang on the side of the tank so no risk of it falling, then I drip water into them using airline tubing.
Cheers!

I;ve read a few of your posts now and it seems like you are having some real problems.
I would start a post explaining your system. Include filtration, substrate, powerheads, lighting, temp and post your water paramiters. What kind of water are you using? Anything and everything about your tank so we can figure out how best to assist you.
I would also advise you to look at the acclimation procedure located to the left in the buisness side of the forums.
