ok, well in my opinion it is ignorant for anyone to think that nature always follows a set of rules. where are all the free thinking people at???
I'm generally confused by your posts...
*You do something you readily admit is against the norm
*You admit it only has a "chance" of working
*Then you tell people they are haters and should be free thinkers for explaining to you what most likely will occur?
You are gambling with the lives of a pair of Clownfish. That's not progressive, cutting edge or free thinking, it is simply cruel. It *might* work. Chances are, however, you will have a pair of dead clowns in your tank.
I once had a stray cat come live in my barn; She was an amazing hunter. She used to catch species of rats I never knew I had and proudly deliver their headless corpses to my porch. One day i looked out my garage window and saw her eating her cat food. Suddenly she jumped up and moved out of the way. A small mouse had walked up behind her, and apparently startled her. She watched as this brave little mouse walked right into her food bowl and began eating. When it was done it hopped off.
I'll never understand why that mouse was not afraid of my cat, nor why my cat didn't promptly eat it. I defies all "laws" of nature. Still, however, I wouldn't go out and buy another mouse to try to replicate what I saw that day.
Species of Clowns can co-exist. That does not mean simply going out and mixing Clowns will lead to success, no matter how many times you see it work. After all, even when you see it work their is no invisible score card to show you how many times it has failed and the results have been flushed down the toilet.
