I dropped my son at his Grandmother's tonight about 5 minutes into the ride home I came upon a car that flashed his lights, I slowed down, two Labs following his car. I drove past the dog's stayed in the middle of the road. I turned around dog's came up to me in the truck then they kept walking, I turned around again I didn't want to see them get hit. So I get out of the truck and call them they came right away, very happy friendly labs. I didn't know what to do so I open the back of the truck bed and in they jumped, I stopped at a few houses to see if anyone new them. Nobody. I stopped at another house and the man and his wife we really helpful , I really felt bad for these dogs the big male just kept looking into my eyes. The female had a colar with a West Licoln liscense on it, which is 1/2 hour from where I live - i called human society in my area- call answering the girl was very nice but the Humane Society was closed. I called the Human Scociety in West Licoln - girl said someone would meet me at the Welland Human Scociety to put the dog in a pen. I was going to take them home if I ran out of options. Anyways she told me to leave them in an outside pen at the human society and she would be right there. I felt sorry for the dogs but she assured me they would be fine, I don't know what my dog's would have done with them. A christmas Story.

Cool deal Al.....I'm like you I could never turn a dog away.....I use to get upset when my Lexi (Rotty) would think she was a lap dog, but now that's she's gone I miss the ole girl something bad.....Can't bring myself to get another one yet....I still go out in the back yard; hoping she'll come running around the corner for a scooby treat!!!!!!
