Type of Lighting for 30 gallon tank

I wanted to get some advice to see what type of lighting is good for a 30 gallon tank to keep an anemone?
Any suggestions?

30g tall (30" long) or 30g long (36" long)? On the long you are going to want two halides where one will suffice on a 30g tall. what kind of $$ are you willing to spend on lighting? Both T5 and MH price range spand a good deal from low end to high end.

Mh give a shimmer ontop of the water. which are nice.
and the t5 is nice to.

well, i wanted to buy a sufficient lighting to keep an anemone and a reef setup for my 30g tank now, but i would eventually want to upgrade to a 48g or so, not sure how big a tank i want, yet. So i want to buy a lighting that would be good use now for my 30g, but also for a 48g.
And its a 30g long tank

i think you should get MH too. i found a 150watt MH on craigslist for $70...you should try checking it because i got an amazing deal on mine.
