Type of sponge?

Another discovery this morning, it's on the underside of some fiji branch. It's pretty big, about 2.5"l by 1"w. Very cool color, bright neon orange. I'm guessing that its a type of sponge?

actually that is brown star polyps congrats on the find

Um, Yeah I've known about the polyps for some time. It's the orange thing growing underneath the polpys that was the original post.

yeah that orange stuff is sponge. i have some of it in my tank that came on my LR
