Hi all,
I tried attaching a small rock with a softie on it to a bigger piece of lr with Aquarium System's "HoldFast" epoxy. I had no success. It just does not stick for me underwater.
What is your favorite reefsafe adhesive that can be used underwater? And will it work for tissue-to-rock, rock-to-rock, or both?
Happy new year,
sam

superglue gel is a bit easier to manage, it kinda stays where you want it. Predator is right on.

Thanks Predator and Mal. Just wanted to get as many opinions as possible.
Is this "Superglue" the same thing as "Krazyglue". I just want to make sure. I just tried moving my mushroom to a place of no current and a darn snail knocked him off. A whole 24 hours of no-current wasted! My green star polyps must be getting ansy by now for the powerhead to come back on. :)

Super glue gel works great, but I have never had any luck using it to attach tissue to rock, to attach a softie to a rock I usually allow it to attach to a piece of rubble and then glue it or attach it to a rock via some fine netting like bridal vail or a rubberband. There is a super glue gel sold at office depot called Ross Super Glue Gel that works well. HTH

Thanks Adrian. I just bought Super Glue Corporation's "Future Glue Instant Gel". It's suppose to work on oily and dirty surfaces. I tried it before reading your post, and the mushroom just fell off again. So I will take your advice, put the little guy in a specimen container to attach to rubble, then will glue the rubble.
Thanks again,
sam
