SO I just got a reefkeeper typhoon I from airwaterice and can't find any info on how to use the system efficiently with the facet adaptor that I also recieved...
If anyone knows exactly how to use this thing please give me some info... It appears that you have to stand there and hold open the pin that allows water to flow to your ro/di system?... is there a way that it stays open that I'm missing?
If anyone out there has used this setup I would greatly appreciate some insight or tips
thanks again

your typhoon should have came with 3 tags on it, water in, water out, watse out...something like that anyway.
your sink adapter connects onto water in, then just connect to sink and read the instructions before operating just incase!!!
your typhoon should have came with a folder style booklet.
If its the typhoon you should have 2 blue turn valves on it, to use it just open both valves and the unit should start making clean water.
you mentioned a pin, are you talking about the inline pipe adapter with the needle valve on it?

Its a faucet adaptor..
It connects to any general faucet and has a spout on the side that connects to the tubing that runs to 'water in'...
Heres an image of what im talking about

if you pull the pin on the opposite side of this spout water flows through the spout rather than down through the adapter like a normal faucet.
So as far as I can tell you have to pull the pin and hold it to allow water to continually flow to the RO/DI unit?... Or perhaps that is too much flow for the system... I'm not really sure yet

I get it now!
Sounds like the adapter is not working correctly, just go to home depot or menards and purchase a Y-adapter from the home and garden section, they are only a couple of bucks and have turn valves on them.
I did that for my laundry room.
That adapter you have should be a pressure adapter so when you turn the water on and push the pin the water pressure should keep it open.
Thats what i would do instead of messing with that thing, unless they will send you another one?
